FittingRoom

Agreement

Terms of use

In force since 26 August 2026

These terms govern the use of the FittingRoom app and of the fittingroom.fr website. By creating an account, you accept them.

1. Purpose

FittingRoom is a virtual try-on mobile app. From a photo of you and a photo of a garment, it generates an image simulating that garment worn. It also lets you keep a wardrobe, build outfits, plan them and get suggestions.

2. Account

  • Opening an account is reserved to people aged fifteen and over.
  • You provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential.
  • An account is personal. You answer for what happens from yours.
  • You can delete your account at any time from inside the app.

3. What you upload

You warrant that you hold the rights to the photos you import. In particular:

  • Do not upload a photo of another person without their explicit agreement.
  • Do not upload any photo of a minor.
  • Do not upload sexual, violent, hateful, defamatory or otherwise unlawful content.
  • Do not misuse the service to produce a misleading image of a real person.

You remain the owner of your photos. You grant us a limited, free and non exclusive licence to host them, pass them to our technical providers and produce the results you ask for. That licence ends when the content or the account is deleted.

4. Generated results

Try-on images and stylist suggestions are produced by an artificial intelligence model. They are simulations, not photographs. A result may differ from reality in cut, colour, material or drape.

The suggested size is an estimate worked out from the measurements you declare and the dimensions available for the garment. It is not a fit guarantee and does not replace the seller's size guide.

Any purchase decided after a virtual try-on is yours alone to judge.

5. Credits, subscription and payment

  • Downloading is free and a batch of try-on credits is granted when the account is opened.
  • Each try-on uses one credit. Further credits can be obtained inside the app.
  • The Premium subscription unlocks unlimited try-ons and high definition results, and removes ads.
  • The Premium subscription comes as a weekly, monthly or yearly plan.
  • A three day free trial may be offered when you subscribe. It turns into a paid subscription when it ends, unless you cancel before those three days are over.
  • Purchases are collected by Apple's App Store or by Google Play, under their own terms.
  • The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least twenty-four hours before it ends.
  • Managing and cancelling the subscription happens in your Apple or Google account settings, not inside FittingRoom.

6. Right of withdrawal

Digital content is supplied immediately after purchase. By asking for immediate access you accept immediate performance and waive your fourteen day right of withdrawal, under article L221-28 of the French consumer code.

Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google, who collect the payment.

7. Advertising

Free accounts see ads. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, your consent is collected before the first ad and stays changeable in the settings.

8. Service availability

We do what we can to keep the service reachable, without committing to continuous availability. An interruption may happen for maintenance, for an update, or because of a third party provider. Features may change, appear or be withdrawn.

9. Liability

Our liability applies under general law. It does not cover the consequences of a clothing purchase based on a virtual result, the loss of content caused by your own failure, or any use of the service contrary to these terms.

Nothing here limits the rights the law grants to consumers, in particular the statutory guarantee of conformity.

10. Suspension and termination

An account breaching these terms, in particular article 3, may be suspended or closed, with prior notice except in an emergency or where the law requires otherwise. You may close your own account at any time.

11. Changes to these terms

These terms may change. The applicable version is the one published on this page on the date you use the service. Any substantial change will be signalled inside the app.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. In case of a dispute, first send a complaint to contact@fittingroom.fr.

Failing a solution, you may use a consumer mediator free of charge, or the European online dispute resolution platform. Failing agreement, the French courts have jurisdiction.
